The Chalet

In the Chiemsee Chalet, the landscape goes hand in hand with the architecture. In 2019, an old boarding house from 1935 was turned into something new with great attention to detail and local reference. Created in harmony: a traditional construction with lots of old wood, natural stone and glass, which on the inside translate the charm of Chiemgau into stylish interiors.

Found by the owning family on numerous discovery tours and research in the region, while all materials were thoroughly selected, existing treasures of the traditional farmhouse were also newly integrated.

Rooms that combine coziness with transparency and offer plenty of space to relax and cook together in the fully equipped kitchens of the 9 vacation apartments with 1 to 4 bedrooms.

This opens the view on the Bavarian sea and the horizon and allows a connection between the outside and inside. Discreet and high-quality natural fabrics for dreaming - wonderfully convertible: just doing nothing, let yourself fall and drift.

How liberating it is to look at life from a distance and get a different perspective. Up here, 800m above sea level, in the midst of alpine meadows and mountain forests you will find your temporary home - with or without service - just as you like.

The relaxed life

Based on many of our own professional and private stays around the globe, our common vision of "relaxed living" grew.

The Chiemsee Chalet understands itself as a place for uncomplicated luxury. It neither wants to be categorized as a hotel, vacation apartment or chalet village, nor will you look in vain for a star classification. Our common goal was to create something unique and new that combines the amenities of different accommodation concepts.

The privacy of a vacation apartment, having breakfast in the morning in your own apartment, free from time pressure, even in your bathrobe. However, with the service of a hotel, simply take a seat at the breakfast table that has already been set up while you were still sound asleep. Cook your own meals in the evening, or have them delivered to your own chalet suite. According to the trust principle, you may access the house or pool bar around the clock, just as you would at your friend's place. With all the comforts and coziness of a chalet, private saunas, wood-burning fireplace, your own wine climate control cabinet, whirlpool, outdoor pool and even an in-house electric yacht on Lake Chiemsee.
