How to reach the Chiemsee Chalet
By car
Coming from Munich:
- Freeway A8 Munich - Salzburg (follow for approx. 30 minutes)
- Take freeway exit 105-Frasdorf, direction Frasdorf/Aschau
- In the center of Frasdorf, opposite the church/cemetery, turn left (Sagbergstraße) and follow the signs for Chiemsee Chalet uphill in serpentines until the very end of the road (approx. 2 km).
Coming from Salzburg:
- Freeway A1 and then continue on A8 Salzburg - Munich (follow for approx. 30 minutes)
- Take freeway exit 105-Frasdorf, direction Frasdorf/Aschau
- In the center of Frasdorf, opposite the church/cemetery, turn left (Sagbergstraße) and follow the signs for Chiemsee Chalet uphill in serpentines until the very end of the road (approx. 2 km).
Our guest parking spaces are located directly in front of the house and are free of charge.
By train
Please note that there is no train connection directly to the Chiemsee Chalet. However, you can get from the train station ROB (Rosenheim Oberbayern) with the bus connection "Bahnhof Prien am Chiemsee" or the connection "Bahnhof Frasdorf (9494)" directly to Frasdorf. Cabs are available at the station, but we will also be happy to organize a cab ride for you in advance. Please let us know your arrival time in advance, preferably directly when booking.

By plane
If you have a long journey, flying is certainly the fastest and most comfortable way to get to us. The Chiemsee Chalet is ideally located near the following three airports:
